Our gym wall is electrically-operated and continuously-hinged. It runs on a 8 mm thick steel cable. Our panels are 76 mm (3″) in thickness and have a maximum width of 1230 mm (48 1/2″). It has roll-formed steel faces that are welded to the panel face. The panel core is made up of one 25 mm semi ridgid insulatIon board between two 25mm honeycomb boards.
Each panel comes trimless with steel butt hinges. Odd-numbered panels supported by one 4-wheeled carrier with steel tires over sealed steel ball bearing wheels.
Moderco offers a maximum height of 9220 mm (30’3″) with an STC of 43 or 49. UL/ULC listed drive unit with NEMA-1 motor enclosure and control enclosure conform to ANSI/NEMA ICS1, ICS 2 and ICS 6. The operation of the wall is by two simultanuously-activated key switches locatedon each side of the partition. There is a emergancy release that allows the wall to be operated in the event there is a power outage.
